Basic configuration

Servo amplifier MELSERVO-J4 series

MELSEC iQ-R series can be linked with AC servo MELSERVO-J4 via CC-Link IE Field Network. It is possible to receive safety signal data of the safety CPU via the CC-Link IE Field Network connected to the RD77GF by combining the safety CPU with the simple motion module RD77GF. * 1 Therefore, there is no need to wire hard wires from the safety remote I / O to the MR-D30 functional safety unit for each axis.

* 1: The safety CPU (R □ SFCPU-SET) cannot use the inter-unit synchronization function.

Motion controller Q17nDSCPU

The Q17nDSCPU has a safety signal monitor that monitors the status of dual input / output signals, a shutoff function (STO, SS1), stop monitor (SOS, SS2), speed monitor (SLS), safe speed monitor (SSM), and safety brake. Each control (SBC) function is equipped as standard.
These functional safety operating conditions can be freely programmed as a ladder circuit for the programmable controller CPU and motion CPU.


Functional safety unit MR-D30

By directly wiring the safety input signal to the MR-D30 functional safety unit, SIL3, Category 4 PLe safety functions can be realized.
