Network unit

MELSEC iQ-R series and MELSEC-Q series systems can be built using the industrial open network CC-Link IE. Since the network is based on Ethernet, you can use commercially available Ethernet devices for cables and connectors. A flexible system can be constructed by supporting topologies such as star type, line type, and ring type. In a redundant system, you can build a highly reliable network that reduces the number of single points due to line redundancy using CC-Link IE Field Network and remote heads.

CC-Link IE devices and general-purpose Ethernet devices can be mixed ERP function and LA function support make the path between HUBs redundant, so that even if a network failure such as cable disconnection occurs, the path can be switched and communication can be continued
