On April 26, 2023 at Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Thailand Co., Ltd. Mr. Wichiene Ngamsukkarsemsri, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) and Ms. Pojanard Prinyapatpakorn, Chief Executive Officer of Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited (THIP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the project to reduce carbon emissions in the Thai plastic industry. (Decarbonization of Plastic products in Thailand) on reducing carbon emissions in the plastic industry and cooperation in being a production showcase.
Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Co., Ltd. will perform the extraction of data from the machine and utilities to collect energy consumption data in the production of products then calculate the carbon footprint for each product in real-time presented via the SCADA GENESIS64 platform.
