Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the automation learning center "EEC Automation Park", a network for personnel development in automation and robotics. Under the supervision of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) officially at Burapha University Chonburi Province on January 19, 2022 with a view of the exhibition from the news network partners and production automation demonstration set which is supported by Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) Co., Ltd.


Asst. Prof. Dr. Nayot Kurukitkosol, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Burapha University reveals the history and mission of the EEC Automation Park, Burapha University in 3 areas:

1. Industry 4.0 technology transfer from creating awareness of smart factory technology through production automation demonstration kits, automated robotic transportation, automated warehouse system, and products that are modern technology that are actually used in the industrial sector.

2. Development of industrial personnel through short-term training according to the guidelines of the Eastern Economic Corridor policies and the coordinating working group on personnel development in the Eastern Economic Corridor

3. Creating cooperation for collaboration of partners to develop Thai industry into a smart factory (Smart Factory)




“EEC Automation Park” began with the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Burapha University and Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on Friday, March 22, 2019 for the development of industrial personnel and students to be skilled in using technology and innovations in automation and robotics. And open for operation from Friday, September 18, 2020 to bring about the improvement of the manufacturing sector to smart factories. under the cooperation of government agencies private sector And a total of more than 50 educational institutions recently held an event to show the success of the collaboration of more than 58 companies in driving Industry 4.0 under the event "the EEC Connecting Thailand and Japan Collaboration Event 2021: Digital Manufacturing Platform. ” to pass the industrial development to the smart factory coupled with the use of 5G spectrum within the practical industrial sector. On this occasion, Mr. Wichiene Ngamsukkarsemsri, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mr. Hiroaki Kondo, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. attended the meeting with Her Royal Highness to donate equipment, industrial robotic arm model RH-3FRH4515-R with manual valued 500,000 baht to Chitralada Vocational School used for teaching and learning materials and donated money by giving royal merit in the amount of 100,000 baht, respectively.
